The Garden RouteTechnical Consortium is committed to ensuring that technology related opportunities are filled by local talent. As a result we undertake to promote the training and employment of locals wherever possible.
Training will be provided as part of an existing training program, with one seat on each course being provided free of charge to approved local people with the right talents. Once trained, these individuals will gain work exposure through involvement in actual projects, thereby gaining the highly valuable experience that will make permanent employment possible.
Future partnerships with local corporates and government bodies will make this learning and in-service training program a key success element of the Technical Consortium, and ensure that valuable Technology related positions remain within the local area whilst skills are re-invested in the region.
